The 1977 vintage is widely considered one of the greatest port vintages of the 20th century alongside 1963 and 1994. Nearly 50 years on, a well-kept bottle drinks magnificently, with rich dried fruits, leather, spice and a long warming finish.

Gould Campbell is part of the prestigious Symington family stable, the same group behind Graham's, Dow's and Warre's, producing fine port since 1797.
