Lucinda joined Amici Bruerni in 2023 and brings an international perspective to the board, having lived and worked in Switzerland, Belgium, Canada, the US, and the UK. With her husband and three children, the family divides its time between Oxford and New York City.
Her journey into better understanding neurodiversity began in 2020 when her son James was diagnosed, and his time at Bruern Abbey has been transformational. Lucinda is passionate about supporting the mission of Amici Bruerni to welcome a broader community of children and families to benefit from a Bruern Abbey education.
Professionally, following her legal training at the University of Bristol and the College of Law in Guildford, Lucinda has worked in private banking, fund management, and charitable organisations. Since 2011, she has served as the Executive Director of 23Arts Initiative, a US nonprofit dedicated to supporting world-class performing artists and programs in New York State. This experience has given her hands on knowledge of the charitable sector and its many challenges. She volunteers as a guide at Oxford University’s Pitt Rivers Museum and is working towards her MA at the Oxford University Department of Continuing Education.
